PASSION’S PROS AND CONS

If we review our dictionary it will say, passion is “an intense and vehement feeling towards to something or somebody” according the psychology describe the passion like this “group of emotions, tendencies and states of mood which unbalance a person’s psychism “and we all know the psychism refers to our mental state, according the philosophy which is considered the mother of all sciences, qualified the passion as “Spirit’s movement which disobey the reason”.

If we start to analyze these definitions we would say, better we don’t get passionate about anything, but not dear readers, the passion have a positive side, passion is an energy which invade us and make us go after our dreams, that is why in the world exists great musicians who make us tremble with musical notes, there are brilliant actors who make us live the life itself on a movie, painters which adorn the world with their jobs, even spectaculars athletes who amaze us with their impeccable athletics qualities, that is dear friends, the world essence is in our passion, we have to use our skills and qualities to make our work with the best of ourselves.   

Not just in the facets that I mentioned in the last paragraph, the passion is interpreted overwhelming; that is on everything you do, whatever is the job you do, and there are many examples; perhaps without passion The Añaño family being originally a humble family, they wouldn’t  have positioned so high in Latin America their soda brand “Kola Real”; probably without passion Nelson Mandela wouldn’t have beaten categorically the racism in a multiracial South Africa or probably without passion Mark Zuckerberg wouldn’t have united  the world through Facebook, type of media which has made possible in this world we have not barriers of distance between each other nor so many marriage destroyed either  HAHA (sorry this is just to make it fun), anyhow people,  passion is something that we shouldn’t lose but we have to know how to control as well. And why to control? Simple, because a disproportionate passion has made many times that human beings commit crimes, like the murders for passionate loves, stupid quarrels in all the soccer stadiums around the world which ends sporting fests on mourning weeks, like those successful business people who forgot to gave some time to their families to make their companies prosperous or the opposite, parents who overprotect their children knowing that on this life they are just borrowed and some day they have to go without any reproach from us, forgetting sometimes in our own happiness because the life is like that.

Because I strongly think that take anything to the extreme is bad, and the hardest part in life is find a balance on everything we do; the passion is good, it give us the strength we need on every project we have, on any love relationship we are part of, but the passion have to be used on the right proportions and know the limit of it, as Aristoteles said “Passion is the reason’s detriment” because it is not used with self-restraint, the measure of the consequences are going to be difficult to restraint as well.

Make your projects with passion; work with passion, love your couple with passion as well, but remember that this passion doesn’t have to become an obsession, because in this life not just exists your projects exists your family too, because that woman or man that you love with all your heart probably you don’t work together very well, and you have to let it go, is better to use that passion on somebody else who probably is made for you; don’t think so much about what is better for your kids, because their life belong to them only and your mission as a father or mother is just support them, and remember that a long and old age life is waiting for you and you have to be prepared for it, every good father or mother always receive the reward of their kids sooner or later.

Live your life with passion but don’t reach the obsession, hear well that lesson, if you don’t have any other question, I done with my creation.
